Christian Education

Make plans to attend adult Christian Education on Sundays at 9:15.

Episcopalians throughout the centuries have found that the Book of Common Prayer enriches their lives. We have turned to these books in times of calamities and depressions. Episcopalians serving in our Armed Forces have carried these books into battle to give them strength and comfort. The celebrations found in them provide models of worship for other denominations.  Learning about the history and nuances of these editions of the Book of Common Prayer will enhance your worship on Sundays.

We are delighted that Drew Johnson will lead this class for six weeks. He will use Marion Hatchet’s commentary on the 1979 edition which is considered the definitive work on the Book of Common Prayer, plus other background material that will inform and inspire your use of it.

Wednesday Night Study Returns

Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm, we wil begin a series of studies.  The first study, taught by Fr. Cubine, will be based on the book called ANGLICANISM, A VERY SHORT INTRODUCTION. This book provides a succcinct overview of our history and culture in the Twenty-first century.  This will give you enough information about our denomination without overloading you.  Come join us.
