Newcomers

Welcome Message from the Rector
Whether you are visiting us for a Sunday or have moved into our area, we welcome you to St. Anne’s. You probably have seen our service schedules and activities on our home page. We invite you to take advantage of any and all that we offer at St. Anne’s.
St. Anne’s history extends back for over a hundred years. We pride ourselves on our continuity. We have enjoyed good times and weathered bad times, but in all times we have worshipped and played together. Around the first of October, we celebrate St. Francis Day by gathering at our ancestral home site where we first met and prayed. We use this time and hopefully the cooler weather to bless our pets, eat a potluck, dinner on the ground and spend time with one another. Before the Christmas rush makes us too busy to visit, we have an Advent party inside our ancestral home. It is a time filled with holiday spirit and as we sing seasonal Hymns played on one of our earliest organs, we wonder if all those who have gone before us might be joining in!
You will find a unique blend of ministries at St. Anne’s. We are big enough to offer activities for children and adults not found in smaller churches. At the same time, everyone says our strong point is our community that is small enough to know and care about every member of the congregation.
We invite you to become a part of the life of St. Anne’s. We want to grow so
that we may fulfill our Christian duty to teach all who want to learn about
Christ help those in any need or trouble and take our place as leaders of
Millington and The Diocese of West Tennessee. At the same time, we need to
maintain that personal touch where we come together as a fun filled, loving and
caring family. Please join us and see if this is the place for you.

Welcome Message from the Senior Warden
Welcome to the website for St. Anne’s Episcopal Church of Millington Tennessee. The Website has been designed to provide St. Anne’s parishioners and other interested persons with easy access to information on the activities, programs, and services for St. Anne’s.
To the visitors to the St. Anne’s website, we are a smaller Episcopal
Church located on Sykes Road near Millington. We are blessed to have Father
Jamie Cubine, a wonderful priest, as our Rector. Our strongest assets are
the people who faithfully attend the weekly worship services and services
activities. The people of St. Anne’s form a community that is friendly,
open, supportive, and active in the Church and the larger community. You are
cordially invited to visit St. Anne’s.
