St.
Anne's ECW
St. Anne's Episcopal Church Women
are all about food, fun and fellowship, whether we're growing together as
Christians, fundraising for our community outreach projects, or just plain
sightseeing!
We have received spiritual
enrichment through Bible study retreats at Ravenscroft Chapel and tours of St.
Mary's Cathedral, St. John's and The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Our main fundraisers are the
Attic Treasures & Plant Sale held in the spring and the Gourmet Basket
Raffle at the St. Anne's BBQ & Fall Festival. These earnings fund such
outreach activities as Karat Place (a halfway house for women exiting
prison), Pack the Backpacks for underprivileged kids starting school,
Hurricane Katrina victims and the Millington Crisis Center.
The sights we've seen have been
many including the Brooks Art Gallery, the Mallory-Neely Victorian Home and
historical Elmwood Cemetery. Our field trips always include dining out, and we
hope to visit every tearoom in West Tennessee!
Come join us!

Several of our ladies and at least one gentleman served lunches at the Waffle
Shop during the 2007 Lenten Noonday Preaching Series at Calvary Episcopal
Church. This is an annual fundraiser for St. Anne's ECW.
Corporate Prayer for Episcopal
Churchwomen
Almighty God, our heavenly Father, bless, we pray thee, our work for
the extension of Thy kingdom, and make us so thankful for the
precious gift to us of Thy beloved Son, that we may pray fervently,
labor diligently and give liberally to make Him known to all nations
as their Savior and their king; through the same Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen. |
